(1) If a copy of the driver's license is required under the circumstances as per Section 62 of the Act, the driver concerned shall submit an application in the format as per Schedule-24 along with the fee as per Schedule-3 to the office that issues such driver's license.
(2) If an application is made in accordance with sub-rule (1), the office shall carry out the necessary investigation in relation to such application and if deemed necessary to give a copy of the driver's license according to the request of the applicant, subject to the Act and other provisions mentioned in this regulation, the office shall give a copy of the driver's license and register the same in the driver's license book as per Schedule-19.
